Description

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) in association with the Indo Lanka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ILCCI) will be organising a high powered business delegation to attend the 25th edition of Partnership Summit 2019, from 12th to 13th January, 2019 in Mumbai, India at the invitation of Shri Suresh Prabhu, Hon. Minister of Commerce and Industry.

Partnership Summit 2019 is organised by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) in partnership with the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India and the State Government of Maharashtra. 

Objective

The main objective of Sri Lanka’s high level participation is to facilitate the delegates to network not only with participants from India but also with 4,000 business personalities attending the Summit from over 50 countries, to strengthen and establish linkages to promote trade, investment and tourism.

“The Partnership Summit 2019” is an ideal platform for participants to directly interact with Senior Govt. Ministers of India, Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Government Officials from various trade, investment and tourism related institutions in India to discuss trade related issues faced, if any, and establish contacts by introducing their company products/services and exchange/share views for further development of trade, investment and tourism between Sri Lanka and India.

The Partnership Summit 

The Partnership Summit started in 1995 to mark the centenary of CII, has established itself as an ideal platform for business networking between key stakeholders to develop best strategies and policies to help countries overcome the obstacles to improving competitiveness and integrate better into the globalized world. The Summit has regularly featured Head of States and Governments, Ministers, policy makers, CEOs, academicians and thought leaders from all over the world. The Partnership Summit 2018 engaged over 4000 delegates from India and 50 other countries including Bangladesh, Japan, Myanmar, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, United Arab Emirates and Zambia.

Delegates could purchase air tickets based on the above travel itinerary from the following Official Travel Agent of the mission or any other travel agent. The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will assist delegates to obtain visa upon receipt of the Participation Fee. Please note that your passport should have at least six months validity.

Admin Fee includes cost of group transport within Mumbai, (airport transfers, hotel to meeting venues etc.), participation at “The Partnership Summit 2019”and networking sessions, inclusion of delegate details and areas of business interests in the Mission Brochure/identification Badge and the cost of communication.

Registration Procedure / Payments

Please complete the Registration Form, attach a passport size photograph and forward same together with your participation fee drawn in favour of the ‘Ceylon Chamber of Commerce’ to reach the undersigned on or before 27th December, 2018. The selection criteria of delegates of the mission shall be determined and the final decision shall be taken by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) and Indo – Lanka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ILCCI). The CCC and ILCCI reserves all rights to take decisions (including rejection of an application).

Cancellation policy

In the event of withdrawal of participation after the deadline, 50% of the participation fee will be retained.
